Apex Legends Season 19 Trailer Reveals Conduit’s Abilities And A Massive Map Makeover

Respawn Entertainment recently unveiled the gameplay trailer for the highly anticipated Season 19: Ignite of the popular game Apex Legends. This upcoming season promises to be a game-changer with its introduction of exciting new elements such as cross-progression, a fresh legend equipped with Titan-powered abilities, and a complete overhaul of the game’s map. Season 19 is brimming with fresh content for players to immerse themselves in.

The gameplay trailer also provides an in-depth look at the skill set of the new legend, Conduit. As hinted in the launch trailer for Season 19, Conduit is a Support legend who possesses formidable shield-repair capabilities and a valuable passive speed boost. Here are the details of her abilities:

Passive: Velocity of Salvation

When Conduit sprints towards a squadmate who is beyond tactical range, she gains a temporary surge of speed.

Tactical: Luminous Transference

Conduit can transmit a surge of protective energy to a nearby teammate, momentarily restoring both their shields. Although the effect is short-lived, it proves to be immensely useful in critical situations.

Ultimate: Barrier of Energy

Conduit deploys an array of shield-disrupting devices that inflict damage upon enemies and restrict their movement.

As a Support-class legend, Conduit also possesses two additional passive abilities. The first enables her to access the concealed compartment within Extended Supply Bins, which, upon opening, grants Conduit and her squadmates access to four extra healing items. The second exclusive Support ability allows her to fabricate banner cards for fallen squadmates, even if the timer has expired and no one has retrieved the card from their death box.

This ability proves particularly advantageous during intense firefights involving multiple squads. Instead of jeopardizing her safety by immediately rushing to retrieve the banner card, Conduit can patiently wait for the respawn timer to expire. She can then proceed to a Replicator and craft a banner card to utilize at a nearby Respawn Beacon.

The trailer also provides players with a closer look at the extensive redesign of the Storm Point map, featuring new Points of Interest (POIs) and a significantly altered visual aesthetic. The once dominant storm clouds have dissipated, making way for a sky adorned with clouds resembling cotton candy and vibrant rainbows. Naturally, no Apex Legends season is complete without the inclusion of a battle pass. The new gameplay trailer offers glimpses of the vibrant cosmetics that players can unlock by purchasing the Ignite battle pass.

Apex Legends Season 19: Ignite commences on Tuesday, October 31 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. Stay tuned for further updates on Apex Legends news, and make sure to claim your complimentary rewards from the Halloween-themed Doppelgangers Collection Event before the season concludes.
