Revival Catalyst Available Immediately When Season 3 Begins
The Revival Catalyst is gonna be up for grabs right from the start of Season 3.
Blizzard spilled the beans on the changes they have in store for the Revival Catalyst and its charges in a Forbes interview.
They’re gonna let you get your hands on the Catalyst as soon as Season 3 kicks off, but the catch is that you’ll only earn 1 charge every 2 weeks instead of every week.

Scarborough: We’re gonna switch things up and unlock the Catalyst in the first week. It’ll be available, but you’ll earn charges at a slower pace, so every two weeks instead of every one. We’ll also be making some other adjustments to the numbers to make it all fit together. What this basically means is that if you’re not into raiding, you won’t be as far behind as you used to be. You’ll start getting pieces right off the bat, but you’ll have to wait two weeks for the next one, and another two weeks for the one after that. The point at which most people would get their four-piece [bonus] won’t change, but the point at which you can start collecting them, especially if you’re not a raider, will come sooner. |
